Bulkheads
On the forecastle deck, carpenters installed decorative guardrails. These elements constitute the bulkheads of the forecastle deck.

In the middle of bulkheads, on each side of the opened space, supports of bell are installed, with a "hat" worked and finished at their ends by a decorative rolling up in oak.

On the bulkhead, belfries are nailed to the gun deck. The bell located at the beginning of the frigate was used to advertise for the meals.

The bulkhead of the gun deck's back is similar to the gun deck's front, except that it is of only one holding and the support of bell finishes on the gun deck. This small bell announced the passage on each quarter.
Bulkheads are painted in red and yellow and supports of bell are painted in red.
